Charles Lemuel Williams, son of Thomas and Mary Ann (Simmons) Williams,was born on October 18, 1865, in Collin County, Texas. He married MinnieElizabeth Harber on December 27, 1888. She was born on October 14, 1871,in Madison County, Kentucky, and was a daughter of Thomas and Sarah A.Harber. Charles died on January 29, 1954, and Minnie died on February 23,1873. She lived near 102 years! They were members of the Vashti BaptistChurch. They had five children.

Thomas Buford Williams was born in 1893. He was married three times. Hisfirst marriage was to Salena George in 1913, and they had five children:Thomas C., Miriam A., Charles W., Nathalee, and Kathalee. After the deathof Salena, Thomas married (2nd) Lura Mae Herndon and they had one child,Terry B. After the death of Lura Mae, Thomas married (3rd) GladysHungerford. He died on December 17, 1967.

Virginia Frances Williams, daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann (Simmons)Williams, was born on March 6, 1877. She married William C. Hardaway onAugust 7, 1898, in Collin County, Texas. He was born on May 1, 1874, inRutherford County, Tennessee, and was a son of James D. and SarahElizabeth (Arnold) Hardaway, thus he was a brother of Benjamin StithHardaway who married Mary Ellen Williams, sister of Virginia Frances.(See Item i, above.) He died on February 5, 1935, and Virginia died onSeptember 26, 1970. They had five children.
