"William Henry Edwards, son of Henry and Milly (Sparks) Edwards, wasborn on February 15, 1840. He served for three years in Company E, 3rdRegiment Illinois Cavalry of the Union Army during the Civil War. Afterhe returned from the service, he was married to Sarah Elizabeth Ann DeJarnatt. She had been born on March 29, 1846, and was a daughter ofWilliam T. and Sarah Ann (Pemberton) DeJarnatt. She died on December 18,1923, and William died on December 6, 1926. They are believed to havehad a number of children, including sons named Edward, William, Otto, andWalter, but we have information only on Otto. A grandson of Otto, JosephE. Byers, has provided the photograph appearing below." (See p. 4572.)

Texas. Glen died on October 11, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, while en
route to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He was buried at Mount Olivet
Cemetery in Fort Worth. Mary subsequently was married to James Robert
Henry on May 22, 1969; they were divorced in 1972. Mary and Glen ha dfour
children, all born in Fort Worth, Texas: Henry Glen Fulkerson born A ug
20, 1949; Robert Frank Fulkerson born Dec 16, 1950; Lila Lee Fulkerson
born Sep 8, 1955; and Richard Charles Fulkerson born Aug 15 1959.

Alice Ernestine Ernst married John Albert Selter in 1948 and lives inLexington, Mo. She is a retired school teacher and has helpedtremendously in the preparation of this article.

Charles Edward Ernst, Jr., and Alice Ernestine Ernst. Charles EdwardErnst, Jr., married Jewell Nichols of Columbia, Mo., in 1931. He is anelectrical engineer in Long Beach, Calif. They have a daughter,AngelaCecile, who married Dan Schwartz in 1969; divorced 1970.
