"Mary died of an unknown illness, she cried constantly from her birthto her death. It has been speculated that for some reason or othershe did not digest her milk and that she starved to death. Back thenthere was only one doctor in the area and he was gard to get to see.Herbert died of crib death, my mother always said he looked healthierthan any other baby she had. She put him down for a nap and when shewent to check on him he was dead.
"Luman, as my brother is known, married Mary Magdalean Foote Hudgensin the early 1970's. She was a divorcee and for some reason theywould never tell anyone their exact marriage date. No children.
"I married Noel B. Marshall 3-20-53. He died 10-19-1983. We have twodaughters. I married Solomon Eugene "Buck" Pritchett 4-10-1984. Wedivorced in the early 1990's. No children.
"Vivian married William Gilbert White 6-21-58. They have threedaughters and one son. All of my father's children were born in FlatRock, Alabama, which is also where my daughters were born."

SQ p. 3946:
"Apparently, and for some unkown reason, the names of the children ofGreene and Nancy (McKenzie) Stapleton have been handed down as anexact duplication of the names of the children of Santford and SarahAnn (McKenzie) Blanton. Perhaps some descendant can help us solvethis puzzle."

SQ p. 3084: "The following brief sketch appears in a HISTORY OF IOWACOUNTY, WISCONSIN, published by the Western Historical Company,Chicago, 1881, page 925: "H. W. McReynolds, dealer ingeneral store; was born in Bond Co., Ill., in 1825; came to Wisconsinwhen quite small with his parents, who are both dead; when old enough,he worked in the mines; then went to Grant Co. in business; then toRewey in October, 1880; he owns 160 acres of land in Sec. 31, finelyimproved; his wife, Jane Sparks, was born in Wisconsin, in 1845,daughter of an old settler; they married in 1861, and have fivechildren: Celiste, Ulysses, Eva, James Syrina; a member of I.O.O.F.anf A., F. & A. M. (Editor's note: we cannot account for the date ofbirth of Jane Sparks and the date of her marriage in this sketch;these dates must be in error unless this is a different Jane Sparks.)
