This site is a large family tree and contains over 25,000 known descendants of William Sparks (d.1709) and their allied families. William migrated from England to Queen Annes County, Maryland, in 1663. The bulk of the data herein was taken from the SPARKS QUARTERLY which was published from March 1953 to December 2002. This site is not affiliated with the Sparks Family Association which published the QUARTERLY. Many names included here are accompanied by extensive historical notes. Reference is made in each note to the article in the QUARTERLY from which it was copied by page number, and often, by the date and the Whole Number of the issue. Corrections and additions to the material on this site are gratefully accepted. All information presently known about each person listed is included herein. Please do not ask for additional information on such persons.
